Bangkok: Bangkok Bank accepts deposits of assets from the EGAT Savings Cooperative worth over 60 billion baht. Mr. Chatchai Rojanaratanangkura, Chairman of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand Savings Cooperative Limited, signed a contract to appoint Bangkok Bank as the custodian of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand Savings Cooperative Limited, a large state-owned enterprise savings cooperative of the country with total assets under custody of more than 60,000 million baht.

According to Thai News Agency, Bangkok Bank is ready to expand its asset custodial services to other state-owned and state-enterprise savings cooperatives in the future. The bank stated that it can provide asset deposit services to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand Savings Cooperative Limited efficiently, achieving investment objectives with an international standard work system and professionally knowledgeable and skilled personnel.
