EOD scans the Deputy Prime Minister’s room at Government House.


EOD officers rushed into Government House to scan the Deputy Prime Minister’s office for suspicious objects.

Reporters reported on the developments at Government House. Police officers from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit brought in equipment to inspect various suspicious objects around the office of Mr. Prasert Chantarawongthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, on the 1st floor of Building 1, Government House, which is the old office of Pol. Gen. Patcharawat Wongsuwan, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, to inspect for any suspicious objects such as explosives.

Reporters reported that the EOD unit officers’ inspection of various suspicious objects in the Deputy Prime Minister’s office in Government House was normal every time there was a change in the person who would assume the position of Deputy Prime Minister.
