Sukhothai Province, at the point where the bank collapsed in Village 6, Tha Thong Subdistrict, Mueang District, water is still continuously flooding the area because the collapse has not yet been blocked. We must wait for the water level to decrease along the river in the next 2-3 days. The current is both strong and swift and has eroded until 2 houses were destroyed. Yesterday, in some places, the water level was more than 2 meters high. Government and private agencies rushed to help and evacuate the affected villagers to the temporary shelter at Wat Tha Thong.
