Foreign Minister Outlines Strategic Policy to Thailand’s Diplomatic Team in Australia


SYDNEY: The Foreign Minister of Thailand, Mr. Maris Sengiampong, has outlined a strategic policy for the country’s diplomatic team in Australia, emphasizing enhanced cooperation to drive a proactive economic model and better coordination with the private sector.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Sengiampong chaired a meeting with ambassadors, consuls-general, and the Thailand team in Australia, underscoring the need for a collaborative approach to boost economic cooperation and create a comprehensive value chain. This strategy involves strengthening ties with the private sector to achieve tangible results. The discussions included insights from a meeting with Mrs. Penny Wong, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Australia, highlighting the importance of sustainable cooperation between business and public sectors.

Following the meeting, Mr. Sengiampong visited Thai Town, where he engaged with Thai entrepreneurs and businessmen. He was warmly received and presented with souvenirs before taking photographs at t
