Gen. Prawit leads the Olympic team to offer blessings to the King


Bangkok, Gen. Prawit leads the Olympic team to offer blessings to His Majesty the King on his 72nd birthday, humbly taking the royal blessing to build morale for the Paris Games.

Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan, President of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand under Royal Patronage, presided over the ceremony to pay homage, honor and offer auspicious blessings to His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty’s 72nd Birthday Anniversary, along with the executive committee and staff, as well as representatives from all sports associations at the National Olympic Committee office, Si Ayutthaya Road, Bangkok.

For athletes and officials who have traveled to Paris, France, to prepare for the 2024 Olympic Games, Gen. Prawit has assigned the Vice Chairman of the Committee and the Secretary-General to organize a royal homage ceremony at an appropriate time and place, in accordance with His Majesty’s honor, to express loyalty and build morale, determination, and dedication to the Thai national athletes. He also a
sked them to take His Majesty’s royal speech on the day of receiving royal blessings on June 26, 2024, to practice for good fortune and success in participating in this sporting competition.

Gen. Prawit led the committee and officials of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand, including representatives of sports associations, to join the ceremony to offer blessings and honor His Majesty the King and led the speech to offer blessings in front of the portrait of His Majesty in the meeting room of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand.
