Chiang mai: The Government Housing Bank (GHB) has joined hands with Maejo University to develop digital skills for its staff and students, enhancing their competitiveness in the new economy.
According to Thai News Agency, the partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by Mr. Wittaya Saenphakdee, Deputy Managing Director of the Debt Restructuring Group at GHB, and Assistant Professor Dr. Prapakorn Tharachai, Vice President of Maejo University.
The MOU aims to build academic networks and promote professional skills, including creating educational opportunities to develop digital technology skills and capabilities for the bank's personnel and Maejo University students. The initiative is designed to promote and support the development and creation of new innovations in operations, enhancing the business competitiveness of both organizations for maximum efficiency.
The signing ceremony was honored by Dr. Drut Khamwichitthanapa, Chairman of the Executive Board of GH Bank, as the chairman of the ceremony. Mr. Paiboon Siriphanusathien, Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Advisor to the Executive Board, witnessed the event. The ceremony took place at Maejo University, located in San Sai District, Chiang Mai Province, on August 21, 2025.
