Bangkok: The Government Housing Bank (GHB) is continuing its "You Fight, We Help" Phase 2 project, extending the registration period and adding additional features to provide greater coverage to vulnerable customers. This follows the first phase of the project, which saw over 97,000 accounts enrolled.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Kamolpop Virapala, President of the Government Housing Bank (GHB), revealed that the GHB, in accordance with the Ministry of Finance and Bank of Thailand (BOT) policy, has opened customer registration for the "Khun Su Rao Chuai" project since 2024. Currently, over 97,000 accounts have registered. GHB is moving forward with Phase 2 of the "Khun Su Rao Chuai" project, expanding customer eligibility and extending the program's participation period to September 30, 2025. This is for customers with a loan limit not exceeding 5 million baht and signed a contract before January 1, 2024. These customers are eligible for the project, with no past due payments or payments exceeding 30 days from the due date, with a history of past due payments and debt restructuring since January 1, 2022, or with overdue payments exceeding 365 days from the due date (as of October 31, 2024).
Participants must not incur any new debt within the first 12 months, except in emergencies such as home repairs from an earthquake or necessary rehabilitation loans. Customers interested in participating in the Khunsoo We Help Phase 2 project can register through three channels: the Bank of Thailand website www.bot.or.th/Khunsoo, the GHB ALL GEN application, and the GHB ALL BFRIEND application.
