Bangkok: GH Bank is launching a new initiative, Pre Finance Premium loans, to bolster project development in 27 provinces, aiming to stimulate the real estate sector and drive economic growth.
According to Thai News Agency, the Government Housing Bank (GHB) is supporting real estate entrepreneurs in developing housing projects in strategic locations across 27 provinces. This initiative aligns with government and Ministry of Finance policies to enhance the real estate business’s contribution to the economy. The Pre Finance Premium loans offer a fixed interest rate of 3.90% for the first year, aiming to provide entrepreneurs with the necessary financial support to meet public demand and drive economic development. Additionally, the bank will offer loans to retail customers, enhancing opportunities for Thai citizens to own homes. Applications for these loans are open from June 4 to December 30, 2025, at GHB branches nationwide.
Mr. Kamolpop Virapala, Managing Director of GHB, announced a budget of 5,000 million baht allocated for Pre Finance Premium loans. These loans are intended for real estate entrepreneurs seeking to purchase land, construct buildings, and develop public utilities. The interest rate is set at 3.90% for the first year, 4.40% for the second, and 4.60% for the third, with an average rate of 4.30% over the first three years. The fourth and fifth years will follow the MLR, currently at 6.10%. This project aims to stimulate economic growth in the real estate sector by providing special interest rate loans, which will also benefit related industries such as construction and employment, thereby enhancing the overall economy. GH Bank’s provision of loans to both entrepreneurs and retail customers solidifies its leadership role in the housing loan sector.
