Trang: Government Savings Bank (GSB) is promoting “Libong Sukjai, GSB Development” to support tourism in secondary cities in line with the Quick Big Win policy. This initiative will help stimulate tourism and increase income for communities on Libong Island, Trang Province, enabling them to be self-sufficient in the long term.
According to Thai News Agency, the project operates under the concept of “Meaningful Travel” – Libong, travel with your heart, beyond what meets the eye. The goal is to develop Koh Libong into a new cultural tourism destination in two areas: elevating community-based tourism and promoting careers and generating income. The event also partnered with four renowned Thai bloggers – Alex Rendell, Ploy Pigkaploy, Bas-Panupat Sukalyarak, and Jo-Cho-Songtham Sippawat – to share their personal perspectives on the natural charms of the Andaman Sea, local lifestyles, and cultures. The goal is to inspire tourism, distribute income, and create economic opportunities for the community.
