Government Unveils SPLASH – Soft Power Forum 2025, Featuring Three Thai Prime Ministers

Bangkok: The government invites you to join the largest Soft Power event in Southeast Asia, “SPLASH – Soft Power Forum 2025” during July 8-11, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Join in listening to the vision presentations of 3 Thai Prime Ministers, exchanging views and sharing experiences in creating “cultural value”.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, spokesman of the Prime Minister’s Office, revealed that the government has integrated cooperation to elevate Thai soft power to the world market in a tangible way by organizing the largest soft power event in Southeast Asia, “SPLASH – Soft Power Forum 2025”, from July 8-11, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Hall 1-4, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, under the cooperation of the Ministry of Culture, Department of Cultural Promotion, National Soft Power Strategy Committee, Development Committee and Subcommittees in all fields, by coordinating the power of the public sector, private sector, communities and international networks to jointly organize the event.

The government invites the public to experience the phenomenon of Thai soft power in a comprehensive manner under the concept of ‘Thailand’s Opportunities in Creative Cultural Industry’, which is like a ‘river of opportunities’ that is nurturing Thai cultural capital to grow into a new economy sustainably through the collaboration of 14 soft power industries, expanding into the world market in a tangible way. Another heart of the event is the Visionary Stage, which gathers leading ‘true experts’ from Thailand and abroad to exchange views and share experiences in creating powerful ‘cultural value’, including ‘leaders’ who join the stage to exchange opinions in large numbers, such as:

On July 8, 2:00-3:30 p.m., Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, will give an opening speech on the topic of ‘Thailand Rising: Tourism, Education and the New Soft Power Frontier’.

July 9, 13.00-14.00 Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra, the 23rd Prime Minister, will share his vision on the topic of ‘Crafting the Future: From OTOP to ThaiWORKS and Beyond’.

On July 10, 12.45-13.45, Mr. Settha Thavisin, the 30th Prime Minister, joined a discussion with “Buakaw” Banchamek and “Tennis” Panipak Wongpattanakit on the topic of “Rethinking Thai Sports in a Disruptive Era”.

In order to reflect the potential of Thai soft power in all aspects, the event is also divided into 6 main zones:

Creative Culture Village – Showcases 14 Thai creative industries, from food, film, music, fashion to tourism, in an interactive format that reaches the new generation.

THACCA Pavilion – A hub of knowledge, strategies and tools for building Thai brands with soft power, with in-depth advice for entrepreneurs.

Glo-Cal Networking – A business matching platform connecting investors with Thai and international entrepreneurs, creating a global network.

Workshop and Masterclass – Training courses under the ‘One Family One Soft Power (OFOS)’ project provide opportunities for youth, students and entrepreneurs to learn directly from experts.

Experiential Zone – ‘Multisensory Mindfulness Experiences’ technology exhibition stimulates all 5 senses, conveying the experience of new Thai soft power.

Visionary Stage – A global forum that brings together true thinkers and creators, inspiring the creative economy.
