Govt raises Rp10.64 trillion from state sukuk auction –

The government mopped up Rp10.64 trillion in funds from the auction of state sukuk or Government Sharia Securities (SBSN) on Tuesday, with the incoming bids recorded at Rp30.85 trillion.

In an official statement issued in Jakarta on Tuesday, the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance informed that the SPNS07022023, PBS031, PBS032, PBS029, PBS034, and PBS033 state sukuk were sold through the Bank Indonesia auction system.

The largest funds came from the PBS029 auction that fetched Rp3.1 trillion from incoming bids of Rp6.05 trillion.

Even so, the highest investor interest was seen in the PBS031 series auction, with bids amounting to Rp15.31 trillion. A total of Rp4.45 trillion was obtained from the SBSN auction.

The next anticipated series was PBS032, with fetched Rp3 trillion from total incoming bids of Rp7.04 trillion.

From the SPNS07022023 series, the government raised Rp50 billion in funds from incoming bids of Rp1.2 trillion, with a weighted average yield of 2.85 percent.

From the PBS033 series’ state sukuk auction, the government raised Rp40 billion from bids of Rp708 billion.

Despite receiving an entry bid of Rp538 billion, the government decided not to raise funds from the PBS034 series auction.
