Bangkok: GPSC won 5 international awards from the 15th Asian Excellence Award 2025 for the 9th consecutive year, reaffirming its potential as a leader and organization with excellence in management of clean energy innovation for the future.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Worawat Pitayasiri, Chief Executive Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the innovation leader of the power business of PTT Group, revealed that GPSC received 5 awards from the 15th Asian Excellence Award 2025 for the 9th consecutive year. This year, GPSC was able to win up to 5 awards, which reaffirms and reflects the vision and determination to develop the business to become a leading energy innovation company with the goal of reducing net greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2060 to support the energy transition direction, leading to sustainable business growth, taking into account the environment, supporting and promoting the use of clean energy under management that emphasizes good corporate governance, aiming to create and maintain energy stability both domestically and internationally sustainably.
The 5 awards received this time include: 1. Asia’s Best CEO Award, given to Mr. Worawat Pitayasiri, 2. Asia’s Best CFO Award, given to Mrs. Panporn Sasanan, 3. Asia’s Best Investor Relations Professional Award, given to Ms. Sukittee Chairak, 4. Best Investor Relations Company Award, and 5. Sustainable Asia Award, reflecting that GPSC is not only a leading company in Thailand but is also recognized in the Asian and international arenas.
The Asian Excellence Award is organized by Corporate Governance Asia, a leading financial magazine in Hong Kong and Asia, to recognize leaders and organizations that have demonstrated excellence in corporate management, awareness of good corporate governance and oversight, financial management, investor relations, social and environmental responsibility, and good social activities at an international level. GPSC will continue to develop clean energy innovations to elevate business standards in line with ESG goals that investors around the world are focusing on.
