Group ordination as a royal merit


Ratchaburi, Ratchaburi organized a group ordination ceremony to honor His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of his 6th cycle birthday anniversary.

Phra Khru Witit Phatthanasophon, abbot of Wat Phra Si Araya, Ban Luek Subdistrict, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province, together with people from all walks of life, organized a group ordination ceremony in the project of ordination in honor of His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 6th cycle birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024.

Before the ordination ceremony, there was a doctor who performed the ceremony to bless the novices from the Mae Khwanjit Sri Prachan group from Suphan Buri province who came to perform Lamtad. There were also beautiful women dressed in beautiful pink Lao Wiang local costumes from various sub-districts in Photharam district and nearby, totaling 30 villages, who came to dance the Baslob dance and had the dancers organize a procession to parade the novices into the chapel at the Ubosot of Wat Phra Si
Ariya or the Hundred Million Golden Chapel. The ordained monks came from both the government sector, the private sector, and the general public, totaling 30 people, to show their loyalty and to offer merit to His Majesty the King.
