Hau giang: Over 10 billion VND (395,600 USD) was donated to a programme on replacing temporary and dilapidated houses in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang at the provincial People’s Council’s 22nd session on October 31. As of mid-June, the province had over 6,600 poor households, or 3.29% of the total population. It is striving to further reduce the poverty rate by 2% by the end of this year.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the initiative aims to improve living conditions for residents in Hau Giang by providing stable housing solutions.
