Indonesia Reports 2,925 Newly-Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, 14 More Deaths

Indonesia, yesterday, confirmed 2,925 new COVID-19 cases, raising the country’s tally of infections to 4,286,378, according to the country’s Health Ministry.

The ministry said, in the past 24 hours, the death toll from COVID-19 in Indonesia, rose by 14 to 144,220, while 712 more people recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,123,267.

More than 181.13 million Indonesians have received their first doses of vaccines, while over 124.08 million have taken the second doses.

Indonesia started mass COVID-19 vaccinations in Jan, last year, after the authorities approved the emergency use of the Chinese Sinovac vaccine.

Aiming to fully vaccinate 208.2 million people in the country, the government has administered over 306.57 million doses, including the third booster jabs.
