Indonesian Aid to Palestinians Reflects National Solidarity, Says Deputy Foreign Minister

Jakarta – Indonesia’s recent delivery of assistance to the people of Palestine in Gaza represents the nation’s solidarity, according to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pahala Mansury. The Deputy Minister’s comments were conveyed in a text message received by ANTARA in Jakarta on Monday.

According to Antara News Agency, the aid demonstrates Indonesia’s concern and hope for an end to the ongoing violence in Gaza, where innocent Palestinian civilians have become victims. “We hope the message can really be delivered. We hope to stop the violence that is occurring (in Gaza),” he stated.

Mansury highlighted that the Egyptian Red Crescent expressed appreciation for Indonesia’s assistance to the Palestinian people in Gaza. Moreover, the Egyptian government and local authorities also recognized and expressed gratitude for the humanitarian aid provided by Indonesia. “They also expressed the highest appreciation for what has been done by the Indonesian people,” he remarked.

The move underscores Indonesia’s ongoing commitment to international humanitarian efforts and its support for the Palestinian cause.
