Indonesian President Emphasizes Human Resources Development for ‘Golden Indonesia 2045’ Vision

Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) of Indonesia has underscored the importance of human resources development as a crucial factor in achieving the ‘Golden Indonesia 2045’ vision. The President’s statement was made during his opening remarks at the 2023 National Working Meeting of the Indonesian Islamic Dawah Institute (LDII) and the inauguration of the Minhaajurrosydiin Multipurpose Building in Jakarta on Tuesday.

According to Antara News Agency, the future will bring even more challenging circumstances, but he expressed confidence in the country’s ability to achieve its long-term vision through the development of human resource character. “We will face even tougher challenges going forward. However, I am optimistic about us being successful in realizing it (Golden Indonesia 2045 vision) by developing the character of our human resources. God Willing,” he remarked.

The President pointed out several global challenges impacting communities worldwide, including economic uncertainties, climate change, and ongoing conflicts in various countries. Despite these obstacles, he maintained a positive outlook for Indonesia, emphasizing the nation’s capacity to overcome these difficulties by fostering a strong sense of unity among its people.
