collides with humidity will cause the upper part of Thailand to have an increased amount of rain, with very heavy rain in the aforementioned provinces.

For the water situation in the Chao Phraya River as of October 1, the water volume in the 4 Chao Phraya dams can still hold more than 6,500 million cubic meters of water, or 26% of the total capacity.

The Pollution Control Department has prepared guidelines for managing waste disposal sites and wastewater treatment systems. It has accelerated the removal of flooded waste from waste collection points, hired trucks to transport additional waste, and the Office of Environmental Protection and Pollution Control 1, together with the Office of Natural Resources and Environment of Chiang Rai Province, has distributed EM water to clean the affected areas in 2 communities: Ban Rong Suea Ten Community and Ban Mai Community. water by contacting the Chiang Rai Provincial Land Development Office, Chiang Rai Municipality, Chiang Rai Provincial Natural Resources and Environment Office, Land Development Office Zone 6, Chiang Mai Province, and Office of Environmental Protection and Pollution Control 1 (Chiang Mai).

For the overall picture of medical assistance, the Ministry of Public Health reported that there were 160 more injured people, 13 of whom had to be treated in hospitals, a total of 2,112 injured people, and 53 dead and missing people remained the same, and 1 person

A total of 111 shelters have been opened in 13 provinces, accommodating 25,260 people. The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) reported the results of the flood relief payment for the rainy season 2024 in accordance with the Cabinet resolution on 17 September 2024. People filed petitions in the system in 45 provinces, 38,758 households. The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) sent the information to the Government Savings Bank 3 times from 26-30 September, totaling 7,327 households. Results of the financial relief via PromptPay were successfully transferred to 5,733 households, totaling 28,707,000 baht.

The first time (27 Sep 2024) transferred successfully to 2,893 households, amounting to 14,465,000 baht. The second time (30
Sep 2024) transferred successfully to 2,840 households, amounting to 14,242,000 baht. The third time is expected to be paid within 2 Oct.

Mr. Jirayu added that the Forward Operation Center, Chiang Rai Province, today, Ms. Thirat Rattanasemjwanich, Deputy Minister of Interior, as the Chairwoman of the Forward Operation Center for Flood, Storm and Mudslide Relief Operations, Chiang Rai Province, visited to encourage members of the Volunteer Defense Corps from 37 provinces, totaling more than 1,400 personnel, who mobilized a team to help and restore Chiang Rai Province and joined a meeting of senior executives of the Ministry of Interior at the Chiang Rai Provincial Hall. And information from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has set a clear framework for the direction of the restoration by assigning the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense to integrate resources for the restoration of Chiang Rai Province, Mae Sai District, Wiang Pa Pao District, to be tangible by October 31st. There mus
t be a clear Zoning division and the Central Operation Center must prepare a timeline to present to the Forward Operation Center by October 5th. The framework for monitoring the overall picture of the restoration of the entire province, the Central Operation Center must adjust to be consistent with the Forward Operation Center.
