Investment Scam Leaves Classmates Alleging 25 Million Baht Fraud.

Bangkok: A group of former classmates, led by ‘Ton Aor Pen Nueng’, have reported ‘Dr. Boon’ to the police for allegedly deceiving them into an investment scheme that has resulted in losses exceeding 25 million baht. The complaint was filed with the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD), where the classmates sought legal action against their former peer.

According to Thai News Agency, ‘Ton Aor Pen Nueng’ was accompanied by dentist Phothirat, 53, and Dr. Saluay, 86, as they met with investigation officers to lodge their complaint. They accuse Dr. Boon of convincing them to invest in a scheme that turned out to be fraudulent, leading to substantial financial losses for those involved.

One of the victims expressed deep distress over the situation, stating that the money he had lost represented his life savings. He conveyed his dwindling hope of recovering the lost funds but emphasized his desire for Dr. Boon to rectify the situation and compensate his long-time friends. Despite the bleak outlook, the vic
tim admitted to holding onto a slim hope of less than 1% that he might see his investments returned.

Ton Or, another affected individual, revealed that he brought the victim to file the complaint against Dr. Boon after being contacted about the issue just three days prior. The primary goal, he emphasized, was to recover the entirety of the money invested by those who had trusted Dr. Boon.
