Bangkok: “Jiraporn”, Acting Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, confirms readiness to continue missions. Minister Jiraporn immediately called a meeting of executives after the Prime Minister gave an order to assign work, confirming that she is ready to continue the mission without interruption, indicating that it is an important ministry to produce and develop quality human resources.
According to Thai News Agency, at 1:30 p.m., Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, was assigned to act as Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). She invited Professor Dr. Supachai Patumnakul, Permanent Secretary of MHESI, along with the executives to discuss immediately at Government House to follow up on the important missions of MHESI after the Prime Minister assigned tasks during the Cabinet meeting.
Ms. Jiraporn, acting Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, listened to the overall report of the Ministry, including the organizational structure, policy framework and national strategy, performance in fiscal year 2025, as well as important projects that are being driven during 2025-2026.
Ms. Jiraporn confirmed that she is ready to perform her duties to the fullest so that the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation can carry out its mission continuously without interruption. She emphasized the important role of the Ministry as the country’s main mechanism in producing and developing quality human resources, including promoting innovation to enhance Thailand’s economy and competitiveness on the world stage.
However, Ms. Jiraporn is preparing to travel to meet and follow up on the work at the ministry this week to ensure that the work during this transition period goes smoothly and is of maximum benefit to the people.
