“Jiraporn” calls several agencies to a meeting on The iCon Group case

Jiraporn” summons “Consumer Protection Board – DSI – Anti-Money Laundering Office – Crime Suppression Division – Consumer Protection Police Division” to a meeting to discuss whether The iCon Group’s business is a pyramid scheme that deceives the public.

Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, called a meeting of relevant agencies to discuss the case of The Icon Group, an online business and health supplement product company. The meeting was attended by Mr. Thepsu Bowornchotidara, Secretary-General of the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO), Pol. Maj. Col. Yuthana Phraedam, Acting Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Ms. Songsiri Jumpol, Deputy Secretary-General of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB), Pol. Maj. Gen. Montree Thesakan, Commander of the Crime Suppression Division, Pol. Maj. Gen. Witthaya Sriprasert, Commander of the Consumer Protection Police Division (CPD), and relevant agencies at Building 1, Government House.

we will discuss the business operations of The Icon Group, which is not a direct sales operation but rather a fundraising network in the form of a pyramid scheme, similar to deceiving the public. There are victims who have been invited to do business together. After the meeting of the Prime Minister’s Office Ministers, there will be a press conference at 5:00 p.m.
