Bangkok: Ms. Krisanong Suwanwong, owner of the Krisanong Anti-Corruption page, appeared before the Anti-Corruption Division to address allegations of extortion involving Mr. Woraratphon Woratworakul, also known as Boss Paul. She clarified that the alleged extortion was simply a plan and took sole responsibility, distancing her family from the matter.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Krisanong provided investigators with documentation to address three specific issues: a 10 million baht transaction allegedly linked to extorting Boss Paul, which she claims was refunded to victims, and accusations of receiving 20% from both a company and victims. She explained that the case involving 89 victims had been resolved, with varying percentages transferred by 20 individuals to a fund. Her understanding of the direct sales business, having previously been a victim herself, informed her actions.
Ms. Krisanong questioned the focus on her activities and insisted that she had done nothing wrong, expressing frustration ov
er the scrutiny. She emphasized her decision to clarify matters was prompted by concerns for her family’s safety, following a mysterious presence near her home. She refuted claims of extorting 600,000 baht from Boss Paul, labeling it a legitimate fee for document processing and business planning.
Addressing allegations of demanding money for television appearances, Ms. Krisanong clarified that the situation was related to consulting plans with Boss Pun, who owned the project. She stated that relevant documentation had been provided to the police and expressed confidence in the consistency of the information.
Ms. Krisanong recounted her previous assistance to Boss Paul in addressing business issues and expressed disappointment over his subsequent actions. She concluded by expressing a desire to move on and focus on her family, leaving past conflicts behind.
