Bangkok: Leaked photos have emerged indicating that six MPs may be transitioning to the Bhumjaithai Party. The images show key political figures “Chada-Santi-Nai Doyce” dining together, fueling speculation of a political shift involving MPs from the “Makham Wan” group, who are associated with “Uncle Pom’s children.”
According to Thai News Agency, the rumors gained traction following an order by Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, on June 9, 2025. The order appointed Ms. Chitra Meethong, a member of Mr. Santi Promphat’s team, as an advisor to Mr. Anutin and the Minister of Interior. Ms. Chitra leads a group of six MPs from Phetchabun, who are currently part of the Palang Pracharath Party.
On the evening of June 11, photographs surfaced showing Mr. Chatcha Thaiset, MP for Uthai Thani and leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, sharing a meal with Mr. Santi and Mr. Akkaradet Thongchaisod, presidents of the Phetchabun Provincial Administrative Organization, at a Bangkok hotel. These images suggest that Mr. Santi and Mr. Akkaradet may be planning to bring the Phetchabun MPs from the Palang Pracharath Party to collaborate with the Bhumjaithai Party’s political activities.
