Bangkok: Linthiporn Warinwatcharoj, the Deputy Minister of Education, has revealed her contemplation of resigning from her position as a Pheu Thai Party-list Member of Parliament (MP) following her appointment as Deputy Minister. Her decision is driven by a desire to focus on her administrative duties without the distractions of a legislative role.

According to Thai News Agency, Linthiporn expressed that her intention to resign from the MP role was clear from the onset of her ministerial appointment. She explained that the responsibilities within the legislative branch, which include legislative considerations and budget oversight, differ significantly from those in the executive branch, where policy-making and implementation are prioritized. Linthiporn emphasized the importance of ensuring that policies are effectively implemented and monitored intensively.
