Nakhon Ratchasima: ‘Luang Pu Sila’ has made a significant contribution to the 2nd Army Area Commander to support the mission of the border forces by donating money and resources.
According to Thai News Agency, Phra Ratcha Wachiratham Sophon, also known as Luang Pu Sila Sirichanto, who is the abbot of Wat Phra That Muen Hin in Kalasin Province, along with a group of disciples and the Dharma Uthayan Foundation, donated 2,017,860 baht and 1,500 kilograms of rice to the 2nd Army Area. This donation was made to support and assist the troops stationed at the border. Lt. Gen. Boonsin Phadklang, Commander of the 2nd Army Area, received the donation at the headquarters of Camp Suranaree in Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
The funds will be utilized to construct accommodations at the Suranaree Force’s stronghold, which operates along the border. Additionally, the donation will be used to purchase necessary equipment and weapons to protect the country’s sovereignty, as well as various tools to aid soldiers in their operations at the border base.
