“Madam Cook Kai” brings evidence to explain to the National Police Commission about involvement in online gambling money


Madam Kook Kai” brings evidence to clarify to the National Police Commission, 100% confident, insists she never hid information about her house in England, has already clarified to the National Anti-Corruption Commission, while the committee is preparing to expand the investigation into more than 10 police officers involved in the money trail of the gambling website.

“Madam Kook Kai”, wife of Pol. Gen. Torsak Sukwimol, Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, gave an interview after giving information to the Police Complaints Consideration Committee (PCC) for more than 3 hours. She revealed that she has now given all the information to the committee and is 100% confident in the evidence she has prepared. Regarding the issue of the house in England, which was previously reported to have concealed assets, Madam Kook Kai confirmed that she has already given all the information to the NACC and has never concealed any information. Regarding the money trail that “Lawyer Tum”, the accuser, claimed that there
was money from a gambling website transferred into her account in the hundreds of thousands of baht every month, she has already explained it to the PCC committee. She asked to provide information about this matter to the media later.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Sorasak Yenprem, chairman of the National Police Commission, admitted that Madam Kookkai had already explained the financial trail and her residence in England, including other suspicious points that the committee had raised. After this, the committee will have to examine it along with additional scientific evidence from the bank to see if it is consistent with the explanation. It is expected that the consideration result will be completed within the 240-day timeframe. If it is found that there was a criminal offense, the committee will forward the case to the NACC. However, if it is found that there was a serious disciplinary offense, it can proceed with the consideration itself.

While Pol. Lt. Gen. Rewat Klin-kesorn, a member of the National Police Commission,
revealed that in addition to the three police officers that the complainant had sent to the investigation committee, the investigation committee recently found information that there were financial connections of more than 10 other police officers involved in 18 gambling and bribery businesses, including relatives of the National Police Chief. In this regard, all those found to be connected to the financial connections will have to be called in to give additional statements in the second round.
