‘Madam Dear’ posts: Don’t strive for power only until you forget your ideology.

“Madam Dear” criticizes Democrat Party executives, think of the voices of the people that were given to them on the day they encountered a storm, don’t struggle for power until you forget your ideology.

Ms. Wathanya Bunnag posted on Facebook after news broke that the Democrat Party would join the government, saying, “Democrats = the people?” This is a campaign that Dear and fellow Democrats who share the same ideology are using as a message to send to the people in their 2023 election campaign. Even though we ultimately did not get a majority to form a government under the party’s name like in the past, we are still proud and insist on following the voices of the people and not greedy for power to seek benefits.

‘The Democrat Party’s existence as a ‘political institution’ for over 70 years is not a coincidence or luck, but rather a firm commitment to the ideology of not engaging in politics to seek power and benefits for one’s associates, which has taken decades to build. And if the Democrat Party is decli
ning today, it will not be because of political old age, but because the party’s ideological allies have changed,’ said Ms. Wathanya.

Ms. Wathanya also said that if today the executives of the Democrat Party think of the people who voted for the party on the day the party had to weather the political storm, they will see the hearts and eyes of the people who voted for us. They all want to travel with the party, trust the party, and want to see the party become a great political institution again. However, if the struggle to seize power and join the government that is about to happen today is real, in the future the party will not have the people.

Finally, if today the Democrat Party, as a ‘political institution,’ does not keep its word, does not keep its ideology, does not keep its position, it will no longer be able to maintain the faith of the people.

“Dear believes that…everyone is ready to accept new political changes as long as they are based on a pure path,” Ms. Wathanya concluded.
