Bangkok: The Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, has launched a new surgical robotic system, the first of its kind in Thailand and Southeast Asia. After 20 patients have already been operated on, the robotic system has been found to help surgeons more accurately perform operations on complex, difficult-to-reach areas of the body, reducing complications and pain, and speeding patient recovery.
