Ministry of Education Attends Royal Cremation Ceremony for Unrest Victims

Ubon ratchathani: The Ministry of Education participated in the royal cremation ceremony for victims of the unrest at the Thai-Cambodian border. Narumon led the Ministry of Education in the ceremony held for the victims in Ubon Ratchathani Province, offering moral support and assistance to the bereaved families.

According to Thai News Agency, the ceremony took place at Wat Pa Mak Mai in Klang Subdistrict, Det Udom District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. His Majesty the King graciously presided over the cremation of Mrs. Champi and Mr. Peerapat, victims who lost their lives due to the unrest in the border provinces.

Prof. Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Education, presided over the ceremony alongside Mr. Suthep Kaengsanthia, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education; Second Lieutenant Thanu Wongchinda, Secretary-General of the Office of the Basic Education Commission; Second Lieutenant Adisak Noisuwan, Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province; and representatives from the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Office of Buddhism. Heads of government agencies, civil servants, local government executives, local leaders, descendants, relatives of the deceased, and distinguished guests were also present.

Prof. Dr. Narumon expressed her condolences to the bereaved families and encouraged them to find strength to move on with their lives. Financial assistance was provided to the families of the deceased and injured. In her statement, Prof. Dr. Narumon emphasized the Ministry’s concern and support for those affected by the unrest, aiming to offer moral support and encouragement to those working in the affected areas.
