Bangkok: A tragic motorcycle accident occurred when a young man crashed into the edge of a U-turn bridge on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road. The collision resulted in the man’s body being thrown over 10 meters to the ground, leading to his death. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage to determine if another vehicle may have been involved in the incident.
According to Thai News Agency, the accident took place on the U-turn bridge heading towards Lak Si, inbound. At the scene, a motorcycle with collision damage on its left side was discovered parked near the bridge’s edge. The deceased, identified as Mr. Thongchai, 32, was found wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and black jeans. He sustained a fractured skull, broken neck, and broken arm bones. A cracked black full-face helmet was located nearby.
Initial inquiries at the scene revealed that there were no eyewitnesses. Officials speculate that the deceased may have been traveling at high speed, which could have led to him losing control and hitting the bridge barrier. This impact caused his body to fall over 10 meters onto the road below, resulting in his death. The police are actively checking CCTV footage to ascertain if another vehicle contributed to the accident.
