NA Chairman Engages in Diplomatic Talks at AIPA-45 with Officials from Singapore, Thailand, and Belarus


VIENTIANE: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man held individual discussions with his counterparts from Singapore, Thailand, and Belarus on October 19. These meetings took place on the sidelines of the 45th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-45), currently convening in Vientiane.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meetings were part of a broader effort to strengthen inter-parliamentary collaboration and discuss bilateral relations. Chairman Tran Thanh Man engaged with the representatives to exchange views on regional and international issues, emphasizing the importance of cooperation within the ASEAN framework.

The discussions covered a range of topics pertinent to the respective countries’ interests. With the Singaporean counterpart, the focus was on enhancing economic ties and exploring new areas of cooperation. The meeting with the Thai counterpart revolved around regional security challenges and collaborative solutions, while the dialogue with the Belarusian official
highlighted trade relations and potential partnerships in technology and education.

The AIPA-45 General Assembly serves as an important platform for member nations to promote legislative collaboration and address common challenges.
