Bangkok: The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has recently revealed the assets and liabilities of Mr. Boonsong Noisophon, the second vice president of the Senate and former Election Commissioner. According to the disclosure, Mr. Boonsong and his spouse, Mrs. Pranee Noisophon, possess combined assets worth 48,867,375 baht.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Boonsong Noisophon, who assumed his senatorial role on July 23, 2024, declared assets totaling 28,795,182 baht. These assets include 15 deposit accounts with a sum of 10,077,005 baht, investments valued at 7,917,557 baht, and ownership of 23 plots of land across multiple provinces including Prachin Buri, Rayong, Surat Thani, and in Bangkok valued collectively at 4,960,000 baht. Additionally, his holdings include a two-story house in the Sai Mai District of Bangkok worth 5 million baht, vehicles worth 200,000 baht, and various rights and concessions amounting to 640,618 baht.

ch include 26 deposit accounts totaling 9,089,737 baht, investments of 1,200,000 baht, and five plots of land situated in strategic locations such as Samut Prakan, Bangkok, Phuket, Suphan Buri, and Prachin Buri, valued at 8,700,000 baht, alongside rights and concessions valued at 2,082,455 baht.
The NACC report also detailed the couple’s income and expenses. Mr. Boonsong’s annual income is recorded at 2,294,500 baht, derived from multiple sources including a salary of 878,880 baht, an additional salary of 510,000 baht, and a pension of 905,620 baht, with annual expenditures totaling 956,000 baht. Conversely, Mrs. Pranee’s annual income, sourced solely from a pension, stands at 247,669 baht, with annual expenses reported at 600,000 baht. The disclosure of these details comes as part of the NACC’s ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and accountability among public officials.
