NACC investigates facts regarding school bus fire


NACC investigates facts about the fire on a school bus, the installation of a CNG gas tank in the Shinbut Group, and the work of Singburi transport officials.

The Public Relations Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) revealed that yesterday (October 4), Mr. Suksan Prasara-ae, Director of the Investigation and Special Affairs Office, and his team were assigned by Mr. Witthaya Akhompitak, NACC member, to act as the NACC Chairman, Mr. Saroj Phuengramphan, Deputy Secretary-General of the NACC, to act as the Secretary-General of the NACC, together with Mr. Thana Asawut, Director of the NACC Office in Singburi Province, along with officials, to conduct an initial inspection to obtain the facts of the case of a field trip bus of Wat Khao Phraya Sangkharam School in Uthai Thani Province that had an accident and caught fire near the National Monument Interchange in Pathum Thani Province, resulting in the deaths and injuries of many students and teachers. The media also called for an investigation
into the facts regarding the installation of CNG gas tanks and the work of officials in considering approval and permission to operate, whether it complied with the regulations and laws of the Department of Land Transport.

The NACC has requested the registration documents, vehicle inspections, and other related documents for buses in the Shinbut Tour group, as well as inspected other buses in the group to collect evidence to lead to the investigation as soon as possible.
