VIENTIANE: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man held a meeting with Lao Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith in Vientiane on October 18. The meeting was part of Chairman Man’s official visit to Laos and his participation in the 45th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-45).
According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between the two leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. Both countries have maintained a strong partnership, and this meeting further emphasized their commitment to enhancing political, economic, and cultural ties.
During the talks, Chairman Man expressed appreciation for the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two nations. He highlighted the importance of continued collaboration in various sectors, including trade, education, and infrastructure development.
