‘Nida Poll’ reveals survey results on ‘people with influence outside the party’


Bangkok, Nida Poll reveals results of a survey of public opinion on influential people outside the party.

From the survey when asking the public’s opinion on the political influence of Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra towards the Pheu Thai Party, it was found that 67.40 percent of the sample stated that he had a lot of political influence towards the party, followed by 21.76 percent who stated that he had quite a bit of political influence towards the party, 5.88 percent who stated that he had no political influence towards the party at all, and 4.81 percent who stated that he had little political influence towards the party.

In terms of Mr. Newin Chidchob’s political influence on the Bhumjaithai Party, it was found that 45.81 percent of the sample stated that they had a lot of political influence on the party, followed by 34.35 percent who stated that they had quite a bit of political influence on the party, 11.37 percent who stated that they had little political influence on the party, and 6.26 percent who stated
that they had no political influence on the party at all.

Finally, when asked about Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit’s political influence on the Move Forward Party, it was found that 40.99 percent of the sample said that he had a lot of political influence on the party, followed by 36.11 percent who said he had quite a bit of political influence on the party, 14.81 percent who said he had little political influence on the party, and 6.72 percent who said he had no political influence on the party at all.
