No Complaints Reported Ahead of Kanchanaburi By-Election

Kanchanaburi: No complaints have been received regarding the by-election in District 4, Kanchanaburi. This morning, officials were busy receiving election equipment. Tomorrow in Kanchanaburi, there will be a by-election to replace Mr. Sakda Wichiansilp. The area around Lao Khwan District Office 1 in Constituency 4 has been bustling since morning, with election commissioners from each unit engaging in activities to receive equipment.

According to Thai News Agency, Police Lieutenant Colonel Pongbandit Pinsuwan, Director of the Kanchanaburi Provincial Election Office, reported after visiting the polling station that Constituency 4 has 254 polling stations. While some issues have been encountered, they have been resolved and equipment has been distributed to all polling stations. He noted that although some complaints have been reported in the media, they have not yet been formally reported. The Lao Khwan District Office is the primary polling station for the four districts of Nong Prue, Huai Krachao, Lao Khwan, and Bo Phloi. Police and administrative officials have coordinated to monitor polling stations, and over the past two to three days, security checkpoints have been set up at certain locations to maintain order.
