Northwestern Border District Shines with Golden Terraced Rice Fields


Muong nhe: In the remote, mountainous border district of Muong Nhe, located 200 kilometers from Dien Bien Phu city in northwestern Dien Bien province, the landscape is currently aglow with the hues of the autumn harvest. The district is renowned for its Huoi Thanh terraced rice fields, which are a hallmark of the northern regions.

According to Vietnam News Agency, these terraced fields, situated in the Nam Ke commune, stretch across the gentle slopes of local hills. The rice fields, with their heavy golden grains, are illuminated by the cool autumn sun, creating a picturesque scene as sunlight reflects off the grain-laden terraces. This seasonal transformation turns the district into a stunning display of natural beauty, drawing the attention of visitors and highlighting the area’s agricultural heritage.
