Bangkok: National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT), in collaboration with P.S. Solution and Consulting Co., Ltd. and Redtech Corporation Co., Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop a highly secure data center infrastructure and cloud services nationwide. This initiative aims to improve the quality of life of the people and support the government's drive towards a fully digital era.
According to Thai News Agency, this collaboration focuses on promoting the use of Digital Platform as a Service for government agencies, the private sector, startups, and platform developers in the country. This initiative aims to stimulate digital innovation, create opportunities for personnel capacity building, and facilitate the sustainable transfer of technological knowledge.
Mr. Piya Ratchataworakun, Senior Executive Vice President, Eastern Region Customer Sales and Operations, NT, stated, "NT prioritizes supporting communications infrastructure, power, cooling systems, and other key infrastructures to support standardized data center services and support network connectivity to maximize the efficiency of full-scale Cloud Computing."
Mr. Charoensak Phonprasitkul, Authorized Signatory of P.S. Solution and Consulting Co., Ltd., stated, the company will be responsible for investment, hardware and software installation, resource planning, and maintenance to ensure continuous system availability.
Ms. Ratchadaporn Srisuttho, authorized signatory of Red Tech Corporation Co., Ltd., stated that the company will handle marketing, sales management, after-sales service, and customer training to ensure the full potential of the cloud platform.
This collaboration is for seven years and can be extended upon mutual agreement of all three parties. The collaboration will jointly define guidelines for the development of regional digital platforms, data storage and analysis, the creation of a nationwide cloud service network, and a clear revenue sharing mechanism, particularly for key target customers such as the National Health Security Office (NHSO) and agencies involved in the digital health system.
This collaboration marks another important step for NT in elevating Thailand's digital infrastructure to be ready to meet the demands of the digital age, reinforcing NT's crucial role in empowering the public and private sectors to drive national digital policies toward concrete outcomes.
