Sen. Lt. Gen. Trinh Van Quyet, Chairman of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA), visited former General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of Laos Bounnhang Vorachith, along with some schools of the Lao army on August 27 as part of his official visit to the neighbouring country. The same day, the VPA delegation came to the political theory school and the ethnic culture school of the Lao People’s Army (LPA). Also on August 27, the VPA delegation paid a working trip to Star Telecom (Unitel), an affiliate of the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group of Vietnam in Laos.
