Bangkok: Police interrogation of a suspect known as “Boss Paul” is not yet complete, with authorities expecting to detain him tomorrow and planning to expand their investigation into additional matters linked to the case. “Boss Paul” and his legal team have requested to add more points to his defense, indicating a protracted legal battle ahead.

According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Gen. Suwat Saengnum, deputy commander of the Central Investigation Bureau, disclosed that the questioning of 17 suspects related to the case has been concluded, and they have been sent to the Criminal Court with a recommendation against granting bail. However, the interrogation of “Boss Paul” remains unfinished as he and his lawyer are preparing a more detailed defense. All suspects have denied the charges against them, though specific details of their statements remain confidential at this stage.

The timeframe for completing “Boss Paul’s” interrogation is expected to extend till tomorrow, fitting within the 48-hour authority f
ramework. The atmosphere among the suspects is reportedly tense, with visible stress and worry. The potential involvement of Boss Kant’s wife, rumored to be a key figure in the Icon Group, is also under consideration, depending on the outcomes of the ongoing investigation. The possibility of issuing additional arrest warrants is being evaluated based on emerging evidence and the increasing number of victims.

Furthermore, the investigation is complex and not solely reliant on the testimonies of the accused. Investigators are assembling various elements, including additional evidence.
