Order to open a joint transportation center to help passengers at Mae Fah Luang Airport


Suriya” ordered the opening of a joint transportation center to help passengers at Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai Airport, and the Department of Highways and Highways jointly arranged passenger transportation until 10 p.m. “Keerati” revealed that there will be 8 flights in service today.

Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, has ordered Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai International Airport (CRE) to be the command center for providing assistance to passengers and flood victims. Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) has already established the ‘Joint Transport Center for Assisting Passengers’ at CRE, with relevant agencies joining the center, such as the Department of Highways, the Department of Rural Roads, etc., to coordinate assistance for passengers and flood victims, as well as to monitor news and assess the situation, etc.

Mr. Keerati Kitimanawat, AOT President, added that today (13 September), 4 airlines operated 8 flights: (1) Thai Airways, 2 flights: TG130 an
d TG132; (2) Nok Air, 2 flights: DD102 and DD104; (3) Thai Lion Air, 2 flights: SL538 and SL544; and (4) Thai Air Asia, 2 flights: FD3199 and FD3209. In addition, the TAT, together with the Department of Highways and the Department of Rural Highways, have arranged trucks to facilitate the pick-up and drop-off of passengers from the TAT to Big C (Ban Du branch) between 08.30 and 22.00. There is a parking area in front of the passenger terminal platform, Gate 2 of the TAT and at the exit door on the KFC side of Big C (Ban Du branch).
