Parliamentary Leaders of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia Hold Strategic Discussions Over Breakfast


VIENTIANE: Leaders of the national assemblies of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia convened for a working breakfast in Vientiane, Laos, to discuss collaborative efforts on October 18. The meeting included Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Saysomphone Phomvihane, Chairman of the Lao National Assembly and ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), and Samdech Khuon Sudary, Chairman of the Cambodian National Assembly.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the leaders engaged in discussions focused on strengthening regional cooperation and addressing shared challenges within the ASEAN framework. The breakfast meeting underscored the commitment of the three countries to enhance parliamentary diplomacy and contribute to regional stability and development.

The meeting also served as a platform to discuss the outcomes of previous ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly meetings and explore strategies for future collaboration. The leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining strong bilateral relatio
ns and fostering mutual understanding through continued dialogue and exchange.

The gathering in Vientiane is part of a series of diplomatic efforts aimed at bolstering ties among ASEAN member states.
