Peck Palitchoke Cooperates with Huamark Police for Drug Testing

Huamark: Peck Palitchoke has agreed to submit his hair for drug testing as part of an ongoing investigation. Officers from the Huamark Police Station, acting under the authority of the Narcotics Control Board (NCB), collected the samples, which have been sent to the Ministry of Justice’s Institute of Forensic Science for analysis. The results will determine whether any legal action for drug use will be pursued.

According to Thai News Agency, Police Colonel Naren Krungsanuk, Superintendent of Huamark Police Station, explained that the hair samples were collected in compliance with the ONCB’s legal authority. He clarified that not all police officers are NCB officers, as some reports have suggested. Officers must complete specific training and be appointed to the OCB to conduct such tests. Under Huamark Police Station’s jurisdiction, trained OCB officers are tasked with investigating drug cases and utilized their authority in this instance.

Regarding potential legal proceedings, Pol. Col. Naren stated that no charges have been confirmed against Peck Palitchoke concerning assault or property damage. The decision to pursue legal action rests with the involved parties. However, evidence indicates that Peck is guilty of causing a public disturbance. If Peck presents himself to the investigators, charges for this minor offense will be filed immediately.

Peck Palitchoke is currently hospitalized. The police have coordinated with him and have arranged for him to provide a statement to the investigators at Huamark Police Station once he is discharged from the hospital. Peck has acknowledged this arrangement.
