Pheu Thai aims to amend the constitution after the court rules against Settha

‘Kru Manit’ reveals Pheu Thai aims to amend the constitution after the court ruled against ‘Settha’, saying that the people’s representatives being destroyed by using abstract ideas is considered too violent.

Mr. Krumanit Sangphum, MP for Surin from the Pheu Thai Party, said that he was shocked that the Constitutional Court ruled to remove Mr. Settha Thavisin from the position of Prime Minister because there was no signal. If there was a signal, we would have something to follow. Even sitting in the parliament meeting room, not to mention the Pheu Thai Party, every political party had the same idea that such an incident would not happen because this matter is about ethics, which is a difficult matter because it is abstract. From the incident that happened, we, the MPs, feel that from now on, in terms of management, how will the country be managed? Because the coalition parties admire Mr. Settha’s work because he is a hard worker. But in politics, he may not be 100% because he comes from the business sector.

W
hen asked if Mr. Settha was drugged, Mr. Krumanit said that he did not think that far ahead, but he tried to listen to why the incident was so serious because he confirmed that in the past year, Mr. Settha did not think about corruption or anything bad for the country.

For the past, 3 former prime ministers of the Pheu Thai Party have been disqualified. After this, what will be the game plan for the 4th prime minister of the party? Mr. Krumanit said that from the discussions about the problems that have occurred, it is time to review the constitution, to see what should or should not be amended, because the parliament is the center of the people, but suddenly the people’s representatives are destroyed by using abstract ideas, which is considered too severe. Moreover, the Prachachon Party is also thinking about this issue.
