Sisaket: The Pheu Thai Party has humbly accepted its defeat in the by-election in Sisaket’s Constituency 5. Paetongtarn thanked everyone for their votes and confirmed she will continue to work for the people and summarize lessons learned for future success.
According to Thai News Agency, the Pheu Thai Party posted a message on social media after learning of the unofficial results of the by-election for the Sisaket Constituency 5 MP seat. The Sisaket Election Commission’s 95% count showed that Ms. Phurika Sommai of the Pheu Thai Party received 31,349 votes, losing to Ms. Jintawan Traisaranakul of the Bhumjaithai Party, who received 40,093 votes.
The Pheu Thai Party expressed its gratitude to the people for their votes in the by-election for the House of Representatives in Sisaket Province. While the election results did not meet expectations, every vote represents the most valuable trust for the Pheu Thai Party. The Pheu Thai Party will continue to work hard to create better opportunities for the Thai people.
Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, former Prime Minister and leader of the Pheu Thai Party, posted on social media, thanking the people for all the votes and trust they’ve given her.
