Samut prakan: The Pheu Thai Party has launched its candidate team for the Samut Prakan Member of Parliament positions, driven by “Ban Yai Asawahem” and the Samut Prakan Progressive Group. This initiative is headed by Mr. Akkrawat Asavahem, nephew of Mr. Watana Asavahem, alongside Mr. Sunthorn Pansangthong, who serves as the President of the Samut Prakan Provincial Administrative Organization. The unveiling event saw the presence of notable figures including Mr. Chulphan Amornvivat, Mr. Suriya Jungrungreangkit, and Mr. Sorawong Thianthong.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Suriya highlighted the significant involvement of the Asavahem family as an indicator of the Pheu Thai Party’s robust standing. He emphasized that the party is a political institution with capable personnel, fully equipped for the upcoming election.

Mr. Chulaphan further elaborated that the Pheu Thai Party has declared its candidates for all eight constituencies in Samut Prakan, with three additional candidates vying for party-list placements. These individuals are closely connected to the local populace and are well-acquainted with pressing local issues, including the concerns of workers, small and medium enterprises, and various community groups. The party intends to leverage this understanding to develop policies that align with the people’s needs.

Mr. Akkrawat, representing the Asavahem family, expressed that joining the Pheu Thai Party marks a significant milestone. He conveyed optimism that if the party forms the government, they will be better positioned to tackle grassroots economic challenges, community debt, and issues prevalent in industrial areas like Samut Prakan. He stressed that his team, with over three decades of local experience, is well-versed in these matters and capable of collaborative efforts.

The team from Samut Prakan is optimistic about creating a “new wave” in the province, aiming to secure victory across all eight constituencies despite the competition from the Prachachon Party. They assert that both the party and its candidate teams have absorbed lessons from previous elections and are prepared to advance with a distinct new strategy.
