Bangkok: Cobra MPs from Pheu Thai Party are gradually exiting the Line group following their announcement of support for Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister.
According to Thai News Agency, this shift comes after Mr. Sakda Wichiensilp, a Pheu Thai Party MP for Kanchanaburi, publicly aligned with the Bhumjaithai Party during a press conference on August 29th, resulting in his removal from the Pheu Thai MP Line group.
The exodus from the Line group includes notable figures such as Mr. Prasert Bunruang, MP for Kalasin; Pol. Lt. Gen. Surapol Bunma, MP for Nakhon Nayok; Dr. Phumin Leethiraprasert, MP for Sisaket; and Ms. Nuchnat Charuwongsathian. The Pheu Thai MPs have been aware of this evolving situation and are reportedly waiting for an opportune moment to finalize their decisions.
