“Pheu Thai” raises hands to announce victory in the by-election for MP of Phitsanulok District 1


Pheu Thai’ raised their hands to announce the victory in the by-election for Phitsanulok Constituency 1, bringing ‘Boo Jadet’ to the parliament successfully after defeating their opponent by more than 6,000 votes, while ‘Prime Minister Paethongtarn’ called to congratulate them. ‘Somsak’ saw the winning factor in decades as the people accepting the new prime minister, indicating that it was not just Phitsanulok that won, but the whole country is looking at the prime minister as their hope. As for ‘Boo Jadet’, he thanked the people of Phitsanulok for giving him the opportunity and confirmed that he will start working immediately.

At 19.15 hrs. in Phitsanulok Province, Mr. Somsak Thepsuthin, Minister of Public Health, Mr. Surawong Thienthong, Minister of Tourism and Sports, Ms. Manop Jareonsri, Deputy Minister of Transport, led ‘Boo-Jadet Chantra’, Pheu Thai Party candidate for Phitsanulok Constituency 1, No. 2, to a press conference after the election results were announced. Mr. Somsak said that the election in Constituency 1, Phitsanulok Province, must admit that the Pheu Thai Party, in the past 20 years, we have never had an MP, so it is a matter of great concern. But the results showed that the people of Phitsanulok accepted and supported Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra. We have a new Prime Minister, so I see it as an important factor for the people of Phitsanulok to give a gift to the Prime Minister and the government. When asked if winning Constituency 1 in decades was a signal to the people, Mr. Somsak said that the signal was to let them know that the people accepted a prime minister who could work for the country, overcome conflicts, and solve various problems. For example, there was flooding at the moment, so the ministers had to rush to a meeting after the prime minister gave an urgent order. He thanked the people of Phitsanulok for bringing this out to show clearly today.

While “Boo Jadet” said that after knowing the election results, Prime Minister Paethongtarn called to congratulate him, to which he replied that when the process was completed, he would immediately go to help the Prime Minister. He thanked the Prime Minister, Mr. Somsak, Mr. Sermsak, Ms. Nopporn, Mr. Surawong, and all MPs, including what cannot be forgotten, thanking the people who gave him the opportunity, and he will do his best.

anulok for their trust. Over the past month of campaigning, ‘Boo Jadet’ has consistently confirmed that he will do his best. Therefore, in the next 3 years, he is confident that ‘Boo Jadet’ will be able to do something for the people of Phitsanulok.

Ms. Manop said that she would like to thank everyone who voted for the Pheu Thai Party. One vote will not be wasted. We will work hard and coordinate with local governments to solve problems in line with the conflict-transgression approach.

Mr. Sermsak said that he would like to thank the Pheu Thai Party. He believes that the prospective MP will be able to perform his duties to the best of his ability and will lead Phitsanulok to progress and become a tourist city with a world heritage. He believes that ‘Boo Jedet’ will perform his duties with pride.

Reporters reported that for the unofficial election results, Mr. Jadet Chanthra of the Pheu Thai Party received 37,209 votes, while Mr. Natthanon Chanaboonsak of the Prachachon Party received 30,640 votes.
