As for the concerns of people in flooded areas for the second time, is there a chance of receiving compensation? Mr. Phumtham said that we have to look at the facts. At present, the compensation money has come from the initial survey. As for whether there will be an effect if there is a new flood, we have to look at how it continues or if there are any special details. We have to look at each case. The area will make a proposal.
When asked again whether there was a chance that according to the
regulations there would be another chance to receive compensation if there was another flood, Mr. Phumtham emphasized that we have to look at the details and see what happens if there is continuity. At present, the compensation that will definitely be given is in order. Originally, 5,000 baht, 7,000 baht, and 9,000 baht were given, but now the initial 9,000 baht has been given, which is the maximum. As for whether there will be more, we have to look at the details and will consider giving more. But if it is said that there is a repeat incident, we have to look at where it happened and how it repeated. We have to discuss it according to the regulations.
Mr. Phumtham also confirmed that the second round of flood relief will be finalized as soon as possible. The part that will be brought to the cabinet meeting tomorrow will be a special part, but right now it is just a principle. We will have to look at the details again.
