HANOI: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has urged the advancement of the national exhibition and fair centre project in Hanoi’s Dong Anh district, emphasizing its significance ahead of major national anniversaries. The Prime Minister inspected the site on October 25, underlining the need for timely completion to position the centre as a landmark for both the capital and the country.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the project is funded by the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Centre Joint Stock Company, with Vingroup holding a majority stake of 80%. Situated in the Dong Hoi and Xuan Canh communes of Dong Anh, this new facility is set to replace the existing centre on Giang Vo street in Ba Dinh district. Construction commenced on August 30, 2024, with a target completion date in July 2025, aligning with the celebration of the 80th National Day of Vietnam on September 2, 2025.
